Making a Shadow
Laura Ramos

The only tricky part is finding a virgin. Until the radiofrequency wristbands are widely available, you will have to use your best judgment. You will require a light source. Say a flashlight. Or a poem by Mary Oliver. Then you will need a backdrop. This shouldn't be difficult, as it's now commonplace to keep these rolled in walking sticks, which can be unfurled at a moment's notice. Stand between the light and the canvas. Ask your local representative for assistance, as they are skilled at shadow puppets. Put your hands together. Make a bunny. Now have it hop away.
